Abstract
La Bibliotheca Scriptorum Graecorum et Romanorum Mexicana continúa con la publicación de las Noches áticas de Aulo Gelio al presentar los libros V-X en este segundo tomo. Como en la entrega anterior, Amparo Gaos complementa su traducción con la oferta de un índice onomástico que constituye por sí mismo un muy valioso fichero de autores y personajes del mundo grecolatino que señala los pasajes de la obra en que figura cada uno de ellos. Al lado de las notas al texto español, que abundan en detalles numerosos de la cultura romana, la traductora consigue una edición de gran utilidad tanto para el especialista como para el lector interesado en aproximarse a la inusual compilación de Gelio.
