Funeral Mourning in Book III of Quintus of Smyrna’s Posthomerica
Main Article Content
Abstract
In this paper we aim to analize philologically the speeches composing the funeral mourning of Ajax, Phoenix and Agamemnon due to Achilles’ death (Posthomerica III, 435-458, 463-489 and 493-503, respectively), both from the point view of their artistic composition as from their functionality in
Book III.
