Abstract
Este bello estudio se lee con facilidad, porque está escrito de una manera excepcionalmente clara: su lectura no sólo ilustra, sino que, además, es agradable. A la comprensión contribuye el útilísimo hecho de que al final de cada capítulo se encuentra un breve resumen del mismo. Empero, en esta nota no quiero detenerme
en elogios; más fructífero me parece informar, grosso modo, sobre el contenido de la obra. Estoy consciente de que destacaré los puntos que a mí me parecieron relevantes, pero pese a este rasgo de subjetividad, espero que otros helenistas se animen a leer el presente libro.
