Algunos filósofos novohispanos y sus textos. Siglo XVI

Abstract
En el presente trabajo nos proponemos reunir algunos datos acerca de filósofos novohispanos del siglo XVI, para ubicar textos filosóficos que nos han quedado, o de los que tenemos noticia. Varios de esos textos los hemos revisado y aun analizado en otros trabajos, pero ahora hemos querido, con base en ese trabajo analítico, intentar una síntesis de la producción filosófica del siglo XVI. Hay, por supuesto, algunos autores y textos de capital importancia, como fray Alonso de la Vera Cruz, fray Tomás de Mercado y el padre Antonio Rubio; pero las otras figuras menores que los rodean también son relevantes, como preparadores o como continuadores de tan brillante labor. Inclusive esos otros autores exhiben aspectos en los que están a la altura de los más insignes.
