Abstract
This article studies the adaptations that Fernandez de Lizardi did about Ciceronian topics and concepts such as: magnanimity, laws, republic, liberty (freedom), people, sovereign and friendship... This adaptations were Lizardian uses, and also reflect the abuses about the works of M. Tullius Cicero in Mexico.
