Main Article Content

Bulmaro Reyes Coria

Abstract

At first sight Cicero's Brutus is a history of Roman eloquence, and has been regarded as either illustration of De oratore, or as a mere "periautology". But the factors of the effectiveness of the eloquence defending itself are found out in Brutus, and this book could also be taken as an alert message for those lacking of oratory skills.
