Abstract
Los libros de texto universitarios no deben ser considerados receptáculo de los datos que se preguntarán en un examen, sino instrumento de trabajo que exponga una síntesis del conocimiento actual que sirva a los estudiantes lectores para ir más allá y, en el caso de los de historia, ayudarles a plantear problemas. Es entonces su capacidad de estimular el pensamiento su calidad decisiva.
