Abstract
Lo recogido en estos dos volúmenes es más o menos lo que un alumno de último curso de Filología Clásica debería saber, no sólo en lo que
a los datos o a los temas se refiere, sino sobre todo a las fuentes y a los recursos, es decir, a dónde buscar lo que no se sabe. Ambas introducciones toman con suficiencia el relevo de las guías manuales publicadas a lo largo del siglo (Kroll, Laurand, Sandys, Whibley, Defiadas, Bignone y della Corte, entre los editores más importantes) y se proponen en particular poner al día la Einleitung in die Altertums-wissenschaft coordinada por Gercke y Norden en 1910.
