El testímonio de Polibio sobre el ascenso militar de Roma
Main Article Content
Abstract
In this article, the author suggests a new way of explaining in military words "how Rome dominated almost all the inhabited world in less than fifty three years", according to Polybius' exaggeration (1,1, 5). He shows that Polybius' work should not be considered acritically as an absolutely true testimony, although he was the best historian of his time.
