Un error de lógica en la Apología de Sócrates

Abstract

While reading the answer of the Pythia to Chaerophon —narrated in the Sócrates Apology by Plato—, Sócrates made the mistake of not considerating one of the logic options. Then he read "there is no wiser man than Sócrates" as an assertion of superiority when it also could be read like a simple equalization ("speaking about wisdom, there are neither better ñor worse men"). That "narcissistic reading" of the oracle led him to make fim about those who were taken as "virtue masters" in his time, and consequently about death. However, that "divine mission" tumed him into the famous person that he is since ancient times.
