Abstract
This article consists of an abstract of Apuleius' discourse known as Apology or About the magic. Its structure is broadly described by Heredia. Some elements of the speaker's defensive technique are pointed out by including carefully selected paragraphs. Through them the descriptive skill, the liking for physiognomy and the polite satyric spirit of Apuleius are shown.
