Judith Martínez Hernández received her undergraduate degree in social work and her master’s in technology management from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Her academic work has focused on computer support for research and teaching in the humanities. She is Técnico Académico Titular B at the Institute for Philological Research, participating in projects including “The Planning of Native Language Teaching,” “Dictionary of Mexican Writers: Twentieth Century,” “Dictionary of Linguistics,” “Digitilization of the Corpus of Educated Spanish from Various Spanish-Speaking Cities,” “Conservation, Cataloging, and Digitalization of the Historical Archive of the Superior Court of Oaxaca,” and “Conservation, Cataloging, and Digitalization of the Historical Archive of the Superior Court of Tlaxcala.”

She is currently participating in the design and creation of the website and database for the Diccionario de Escritores Mexicanos, siglo XXI. Nacidos a partir de 1970, and on the project “Database of Verb Constructions in Mexican Spanish (CONVEM): Expansion, Labeling, and Preparation for Online Use.”
