Elizabeth Olguín Martínez

Elizabeth Olguín Martínez earned her undergraduate degree in Spanish language and literature and continued with master’s studies in Latin American literature in the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

In 1992, she was Lead Editor in the Administrative Office of the Colegio de Ciencias y Humanidades, overseeing textbooks and the Gaceta CCH. Since 1993, she has been an adjunct professor at the Escuela Nacional Preparatoria, teaching courses on Mexican, Latin American, and world literature.

From 1996 to 2014, she was Técnica Académica Asociada in the Administrative Office of the Humanities, responsible for the typography of the Latin-Spanish and Greek-Spanish bilingual edition of the Bibliotheca Scriptorum et Romanorum Mexicana, under Bulmaro Reyes Coria, and the publications of the Seminar for the Study of the Decolonialization of Mexico, directed by Dr. Rubén Bonifaz Nuño. In 2017, she continued work on the Bibliotheca Scriptorum at the Center for Classical Studies, now directed by Dr. Aurelia Vargas Valencia, and in June 2022, she moved from the Administrative Office of the Humanities to the Department of Publications, Institute for Philological Research.
