The Earthquake in Ocotlán

Resumen

The following texts are three descriptions of an earthquake which occurred in 1931 in the area of Ocotlán, Oax. The first text describes the earthquake and its results as seen by a brother of the ones who were killed. The second text is by the orphaned son of the ones who were killed who at the time was a small lad of four or five years. The third text is given by a neighbor of those who died and whose own house suffered damage. These three texts were recorded in San Antonino Ocotlán, Oax. in 1965, thirty four years after the events occurred.
